DP World Logistics – Lot 13 Pavement Development, Port Botany

4,200 tonnes of asphalt across 14,000m² in a single site establishment.

The project

Vulcan Infra delivered large-scale asphalt pavement works for the Lot 13 development at DP World Logistics, Port Botany.

The project involved the placement of approximately 4,200 tonnes of AC20 A35P asphalt across 14,000m², comprising two layers to a total pavement thickness of 120mm.

Through meticulous planning, efficient resource allocation and coordinated execution, Vulcan Infra successfully completed the entire asphalt scope within a single site establishment, eliminating the need for multiple additional shifts.

This streamlined approach enabled earlier project handover and demobilisation, delivering significant programme efficiencies and cost savings for the client.

The project demonstrates Vulcan Infra's ability to deliver large-scale asphalt works through solution-driven planning, efficient resource management and streamlined execution.
