The project
Vulcan Infra delivered complex pavement rehabilitation works along Bridge Road, Glebe, within a heavily congested urban environment, requiring careful coordination and protection of heritage sandstone kerbing.
The works involved pavement profiling, HaTelit reinforcement installation and asphalt resurfacing through the Sydney Fish Market precinct and a challenging S-bend section.
Through precise planning, strategic programming and efficient site coordination, Vulcan Infra successfully delivered 900 tonnes of asphalt paving, including complex HaTelit installation, within a single weekend.
The project exceeded client expectations, demonstrating Vulcan Infra's ability to deliver technically demanding pavement works within tight construction windows while protecting sensitive heritage infrastructure and minimising disruption.
